Going with the Bears for much the same reason I took New Orleans last night

. Bears backs against the wall, and getting the points at home has value. Just seems that a team that lost last week to a team that may rival the Bears for shitty play, should not be laying over a field goal on the road. Especially against a team coming off their bye week. I am truly not a homer when it comes to the Bears as I generally stay away or play against, but in this case that's where I feel the value lays.

perhaps, you are right about the talent between these two -- tonite we will definitely find out if favre is done. all i need is an avg game out of favre tonite to get the cover the way i see it.
i do concur with your "must-win" situational games, but i think that pertains to the pack more so than the bears -- bears are the defending conf champs and were expected to contend again this year. bears are damn close to where we thought they'd be. bears lose, hire saban as coach next week

I've been hearing that rumor a while myself, not really sure how he would fare in the bigs though. When I say the Bears back is against the wall, I am referring to Jauron. That may not matter as the coach does not play the game. However, the last time Jauron was in the position to lose his job it was 2001-2002 and Jerry Angelo was the new GM. Many felt he would can Jauron the minute he got the chance. He never did, the Bears went 13-3. The Bears don't have the most talent but this coach seems to get good effort out of his players when he needs to. We'll see.
